FB Darian Barnes offered some fire on the subject of people who blame Chad for this three-game losing streak, the first of his career as the Jets starter.

"They'd better not," Barnes said. "This is a team. We're an offensive unit. We all could've played better. I could've played better. To put it all on one person is ridiculous."

I know they shouldn't run Chad under the bus, but this is the problem with this team, there to nice, they become soft. The worry about hurting someone's feelings and not winning.

Its called loyalty, right or wrong you have to support the players you have on the field.

It's definitely not a player's position to comment on the running of the team.

You shouldn't expect anything else.... Football is a team game, and if they come out and openly blame one guy, there's no turning back....

However, watching Kerry Rhodes' press conference, it was obvious he wasn't happy with the QB play...

Having been on many, many football teams at many levels before, I know that when something goes wrong on one side of the ball, in this case offense, the guys on that side of the ball, generally, keep their mouths shut..

The guys on the other side of the ball, however, feel as though they're being jipped because their hard work is being wasted.... Nobody on this team of nice guys is going to come out and say anything... But keep watching press conferences and interviews with players like Rhodes, and other guys who are playing hard on our defense.... It won't be their words, but their demeanors that tell the whole story

Can't blame him, last week and this week they put the offense in a position to be successful only to watch the offense produce 3 points on turn the ball over. This is getting nasty, Mangini is looking a mutiny soon. The locker room is getting divided.

Oh believe me bro, I know how he's feeling.... There is NO FEELING worse, as a defensive player, than making a big play (in this case his sack) that sets up the offense in scoring range in a close game late, and then having them blow it...

And then he sits in the press room while Mangini sits there blaming his unit and the offensive line...

If I were Rhodes, I'd be furious too...

Lets be honest, other than the interception by Poteat, exactly what big plays did the defense make? We hardly stopped them the whole game, they scored a TD, kicked 3 FGs and missed 2 other FGS, meaning they were in scoring range 6 times in the game. The defense unable to get off the field is just as much a fault, or close to it, than the offense being unable to move.

Ummmmm...The defense is never playing looose, with a lead and confidence....The offense can't provide it, and that makes the difference.

The average score of the winning team in the 10 games played yesterday was 28 points. 1 team yesterday won a game scoring less than the 16 points the Eagles scored on us yesterday add in the two field goals and the Eagles still only scored 22 which is 6 points less than the average score of winning teams yesterday it still would be in the bottom half of all scores by winning teams.

The NFL has been changing the rules almost every off season to favor the passing game and scoring. We are consistently an underperforming scoring team and our down field passing is terrible and has been for years now.

Look, you know you suck when Vinny, who was sitting on his couch watching this years games, comes in for ONE week, STARTS, and wins the game. Hell he even threw a bomb to Steve Smith and Vinny is like 60 years old.

How about we get a few 3 and outs? How about we stop the run some? How about we actually make a tackle? Trust me, the offense has lots of blame here but the defense has its own problems. We sacked McNabb on the first play and the Eagles still scored a TD because 2 of our DB's couldn't make a tackle on a short slant pass, that set the tone early in my opinion.

I'd be more concerned if he was throwing Chad under the bus.

    You watch the game yesterday?

The D made 3 stops yesterday when the Eagles could have and should have scored a TD if the the D was that bad. Not too mention another 2 stops yesterday to give out inept QB a shot to score the game tying TD. One of them Revis made an open field tackle to stop a 1st down.

This team has been in every game save for 1. It is completely in the realm of reason to say this should be a 3-3 or 4-2 team. The QB play has been abysmal the last 3 games. The QB, the leader of this team has been absent. As bad as the D has been the last 3 weeks when a big stop is required they get it. It must be completely frustrating to be on the field forever and realize if "we" do nto get points "our" O certainly is not!

BS, there has never been an issue with the OL, we saw that yesterday with Jones finally getting the ball. It's the person behind the center.

There is not way the Jets should be held without scoring a T/D and not win a game when our horrid D holds an team to 16 points. 128 yards passing and no T/D is a disgrace! He got his 100+ yds from his Rb. Chad S**ks and it is time to go!
