This is supposed to be entertainment, right? We've watched three straight clunkers and four out of six this year that have had me yawning from the inevitability of defeat all through the 4th quarter. Even when the Jets had the ball and opportunities to tie the game late it was clear they would not be up to the task. Today when TJ rushed for 82 yards in the first quarter and the Jets had 3 points to show for it we should have known the game was over. Only the Eagles relative ineptitude kept the game close. Why would the Jets play such a boring brand of offensive football when they have a potential answer on the bench? Is it just complete lack of respect for their fans? And I do believe we would be 3-3 right now if Clemens had stayed in after Chad's injury. At least that would be entertaining.
Mangini is supposed to be a combo of Bellichick and Parcells. But it looks like the only traits he carries from those 2 is stubborness for change and treating the media like crap... Something needs to change...and very soon.
I think the D has to change, and with this record it is certainly time to give Kellen a shot....we're playing for a draft pick now.
I'm not really sure what benefit he sees in playing CP at this stage. So we might have acouple more "forced throws", questionable decisions, and time management mistakes w/ Clemens...but if we actually have an offense capable of moving the ball, and showing SOME excitement, isn't it kind of worth it?
That's what's wrong this season! He's lost most of his moobs! I figured losing weight would be a good thing for him but now when he runs screaming and shaking up to players in practice they are no longer reflexively throwing their arms up and cowering in fear, afraid that he's gonna get his moobs all over them. He's lost his edge...
The defense is boring as hell to watch too. I've gotten used to seeing the D-line backpedaling the instant the ball is snapped.
I hear you man, but I'd rather see the jets win 3-2 in a "boring" game than see a 41-42 loss with both offenses going all out. I mean alot of what makes a team boring is the fact that theyre losing. Today's game was just that but lets not forget to include that sweet reverse to Cotchery. It was pretty good and proved that the team needs to get out of this conservative shell they're in. I mean the season's basically lost now and Mangini should stop trying "not to lose" anymore because he clearly has lost. Might as well have some fun with some more blitzes and deep throws. I'm not saying make our team look like a joke, but what do we have to lose if they go for a few more 4th down plays here and there.
I think we'd all rather win 3-2 than lost 42-41..but unfortunately...the defense is so atrocious, the only way we're gonna beat anybody is by out-scoring them...That isnt gonna happen w/ Chad at the helm.
Well yeah the defense is pretty bad but other than that Kevin Curtis touchdown today, I think the defense was solid. They have to be more consistant though.
Oh boy do I completely agree with this. Not only are we non competitive, but the games are simply terrible to watch (though it has been kinda boring eince Penny took over IMO). Man do I regret dropping 269$ for Sunday Ticket. I coulda used that cash to take fat chicks out on dates and STILL had more fun that this. Sorry end of rant.
Its football , Not every team is gonna be great to watch this aint WWE Wrestling things dont always work out your way.
