OK we haven't lost it yet , but lets be honest , other than the NFLs worst team :)finssuck: ) we couldn't beat an egg!

If/when we lose againt the Eagles , Mangini has no option but to bench CP if we see another inept performance.

Sorry if this has been posted before

Unfortunately, I see Chad playing like he did in weeks 1 and 3 this week...

He's shown me the last few years, that he pays attention to the criticism, and adapts accordingly... Early in the season, despite his stats, people were complaining that he wasn't throwing down the field enough....

So against Buffalo and the Giants, he decided to take a few more shots... Unfortunately, his wounded ducks turned into 5 INTs in two games... And now, EVERYONE, not just the people who watch the games, are calling for him to be benched, because the INT numbers stick out so much....

I see him going back to his early season form.... Look for a 25 for 30 day, for 220 yards, 1 TD on a lob to Coles, and 5 completions over 10 yards...

And expect him to keep him job, and the media to praise him for his 'efficiency'...

Meanwhile, we'll put up 10-14 points on offense, and lose something like 24-14

    Ugh

If the first half is dismal I would hope he makes the move at halftime.

If Chad plays ANYTHING like he did against the Giants or the Bills, Mangini has no choice, but to go with Clemens.

I will be at the game and I am interested to see how things pan out.

I couldnt give a rats ass who is the QB for the Jets so long as they are winning games. And there is absolutely nothing "unfortunate" about winning a game with Chad Pennington behind center.

You people baffle me. Your talking like Clemens is the second coming of Brady when you have absolutely no idea how good or bad he is. And it is only game 5 of the season.

If we lose this next game because of Chads play, then I will be in full support of giving Clemens a shot. But I will support the Jets winning games no matter what.

If we fall behind early I too think he makes a move at the half. If that were to happen and he doesn't make a move then it will probably be a long time before he does. On second thought, he may not because it's a home game and he would want to save Pennington that embarrassment.

That's exactly it, we are heading down the road of top 10 draft pick and we have a 2nd year QB that has started one game in his career that we invested a high draft pick in. If we lose this game Mangini owes it to the frnchise to see if Clemmens is the future or not. If not then we dump him and draft somebody else, if he is with that high draft pik we get him another OL to protect him.

Yes, he's paying you and your so sought after opinion much attention. Puh-leeeeeaaazeee.... I seriously doubt the guy pays any attention to it at all. He plays his game... studies his mistakes and tries to improve. He doesn't run to TGG or the NY Times to see what he needs to adjust and adapt accordingly.

You guys make up more shit on a daily basis than I could ever dream possible.

He will hear the chorus of boos on Sunday when he s**ks up the Joint v.s. Philly. I bet he will hear 50,000 strong chanting KELLEN CLEMENS!!

Insert Rich Miano`s last quote here..... We have a winner ....,but I think Mangini likes the idea of the press blamming our whole mess on Chad and as a result it`s taking 98% of the heat of Eric....once Eric starts to take some crap for our loses , thats when K.C. WILL BE PUT IN..imho

Could you imagine being a pro-athlete and paying attention to everything that is going around you? It would make you nuts! Now I'm sure they read papers some or watch sports news or whatever. I bet when they win they may even enjoy hearing about it on TV and in the papers. But when they lose... and they lose like they have been, they don't need anyone telling them they suck. I'm sure Chad feels bad enough about that Giants game alone.

Who among us would want to turn on the TV or gets the paper and see it plastered all over how much Beamen has sucked at work this week because he spent 35+ hours posting on TGG how much Chad Pennington blows. Now imagine you're Beamen. Nuff said.

What's inept though? What if he's 19/30 for 250 yards and no TDs or INTs and we win?

...or what if he has those same numbers and we lose?

    Neither is inept.

To me, inept is 12/25 with O TDs and 2 INTs in a loss....or a show of poor decisions liek the fade route INT last week.

I bet this is the thing you are looking forward to the most for Sunday's game not a good performance by the team or a win by the team. If Chad plays good and we beat the Eagles, I am sure it will be disappointing to you.

We will never have an idea if they wait to late to put him in. Typical JETS, waiting too late, they should of put him in 2 games ago.. WAISTING TIME. I don't care if Chad squeeks by a win this week, we all know the week after we will be losing again. PUT CLEMENS IN.
