PLEASE explain to me why pick #29 is an 'AWFUL' pick. Everyone ready for some BS?

He had his struggles returning punts, not kicks. He will be a top kick returner in the league for many years, that is unquestionable.

An offensive lineman. It's a fine pick if you're in the market for OL because there's alot of high end depth in that area. Nick Mangold, Max-Jean Gilles, Eric Winston, a few others....there will be a good tackle, guard, or centre left. Also, we could use it on a LB, where there's also some depth.

    P.S. Maybe we can use #29 on a kicker.....refer to #28Martin's avatar.......

Absolutely awful,,,, you know what #29 is good for? Good for getting a medicore player who automatically gets overrated on this site. I want top guys,,,, not quantities of medicore guys. #29 for our best defensive player, what a joke. After #15, this draft as alot of medicore guys who this site overrates. D'Angelo Williams = 3rd down back. Alot of guys like that. Can you all please overrate MANGOLD just a little more,,, please.

Well then don't just say this site is overrating them, say the NFL is too because the scouts on NFL.com seem pretty high on these guys you are calling overrated...

seriously...what games are u watching. I think his hands are made of crisco.

Anyway trading both our 1sts to move up is a waste in my eyes. I would jump on it if it was our #4 and a 2nd or 3rd because we really need a franchise QB.

Most draft reports I have read, say this is a deep draft all around, so I love how you single out this "site."

I said this on another thread, but it bares repeating. Any pick after the top 15 are mediocre? Do you have any idea how many top NFL players were drafted after round 1? After #15? There are great players drafted in rounds 6 and 7. Off the top of my head...lets see...Tom Brady. That is a ridiculuos statement. Championship teams are built after round one.

Its just being negative for negative sake. Attention getter.
Considering that most teams only get 1 first round draft pick per year, its amazing that there is any talent on any team.

Amen. If we trade up it shouldn't be with both 1st rounders but I don't see the value of trading up when you can get a very good QB if we stand pat if that's the route we want to take.

you shouldnt bother responding to this guy. it's a waste of time and energy. saying that any pick after 15 is mediocre has got to be the dumbest statement i've heard on this board. seriously.

He had the 3rd best kick return average in the NFL last year, as a rookie. So yeah, that's hillarious.
