Chad should take a seat. He has all the tools, hearts, and smarts needed for the job, but at this point his arm is a liability. His lack of velocity and arm strength shortens the field for the opposing D, and gives the opposing D time to close and jump on the pass plays the Jets execute ALMOST successfully. Sad to say it, but Chad does not offer this team any hope of improving this year, or next year. Now is the time to find out what we have in Clemens. If he isn't up to the task, at least we will have opportunity thru the draft, free agency, or trade to upgrade the QB position.
The defense needs to show up the entire game, not just the 1st half. They played great then, but then the 2nd Half came and they played terrible. I am a Chad supporter, but I can admit that he did not look all that good today. That throw into the endzone was not a good call at all, Cotchery had 2 defenders around him. And his last interception, that was not good too. But to say the Jets lost because of Chad is just wrong.
The D created 10 points , special teams 7 plus exceptional field position. Pennington does us a favour long term by stinking out the place. End of the noodle!
Realistically Pennington is only half the problem; this defense isn't helping things either. The difference is, you CAN bench the QB, but you can't bench a whole defense. Fix the things you can fix right away.

Dude, if you are much of a fan of the Jets as I believe you are... Remember, I used to have your back in the Herm days... Recognize the fact that this game is over by halftime if not for the defense. The offense puts no pressure on any team because Chad has become a joke. Put your wonderful green blinders on and please get on the KC bandwagon. We'll need all the support we can get leading up to our 3rd 4th overall pick this decade.
The Jets will continue to loss with such a shitty offensive line. If you can't run, sorry, not going to win. Can't pass protect, sorry, not going to win. And it also goes on the quarterback, whose strong suit is supposed to be decision making and headiness - Penny is overrated in those catergories if you look at last year and this season's numbers. The D got lucky w/ a couple of TOs, they were brutal today. They had a chance to protect TWO 10 point leads and couldn't do it.

20 + yard TD run untouched wow if it werent for the flag we gave up 42 to the g-men. Personally i think we should have let them have the TD prove just how much we choked this afternoon.
