That would improve their offense 10 fold, that is how bad their offense is

exactly what did vick win on the field? pennington is a much much better QB than vick could hope to be. vicks completion % has been shit, and the only reason he gave anyone fits is because hes a hell of a running back....as far as QBs go vick is and was in the bottom 1/3 of the NFL.

hes a loser at life...not just as a person, or as a QB...at everything. hopefully he will have his state conviction run consecutively and not concurrently. id be glad if i never had to see him on a football field again.

I just don't like how New York fans bash their team more than their team's opponents.

some of you fans are so dillusional thinking the jets are capable of a first day pick for someone they want to dump to make room for what everyone hopes will be a upgrade. the jets will be trading from a weakness and will be lucky to get a 5th for noodle arm.....

Delusional eh? Tell me, where am I delusional in realizing the Eagles were able to get a 2nd round pick for AJ Feeley? Actually... let me put that another way... a team gave up a 2nd round pick... for AJ Feeley.

I know that we need to get Clemens in there, as does most Jets fans. However, I am not stupid, and if you knew anything you would know that Chad commands a lot of respect around the league. No matter how much WE rip on Chad, he IS a highly respected quarterback in the NFL. How do you think he has lasted as long as he has with his "noodle arm"?

There are teams out there can be preyed upon. We are in bad shape, but don't be so "delusional" as to think every team in the NFL has us pegged. If the Jets get an opportunity to move Pennington for something ludicrous, then they should pounce on it. If they don't get that opportunity, then they should NOT trade him for the sake of trading him. Does that sound so delusional to you?

I am advocating the Jets look for a ludicrous trade. The Jets need to do something, if not for today, then for tomorrow.

If we could trade Glassington for three to be announced 13th rounders – we would be robbing someone.

Randy Moss was not WORTH a 4th round pick. Randy Moss was TRADED FOR a 4th round pick. Moss was a disaster in Oakland and nobody was sure which Randy Moss would show up this year, which is why he commanded such low value on the trade. He was traded based on performance, not potential. If the same is applied to Chad, a team like Chicago would jump at his numbers. He'd be a good fit for that team and would get more than a 4th rounder. Maybe not much more, but more.

As far as a QB having both an arm and a brain, how many QBs in this league have a great mind AND a great arm. Let's see...Manning, Brady, McNabb, and Palmer. That's about it at this point. Maybe Hasselbeck. Maybe.

actually guys there is a small market for CP out there - but its likely not a starter role........

the big thing is what CP thinks. does he want to make the inevitable switch to a back up and does he want to stay with the jets.

if the answers are no...the jets keep it quiet and try to find a team willing to give up a conditional pick.

QB are hot commods and teams can get in a squeeze quickly so that the jets have 2 guys that can POTENTIALLY get the job done in certain spots it creates a market for CP.

How can we trade Chad? We would have KC as a starter and Tui as backup... wtf? Clemens has only played one good quarter in his life, and three very bad ones. How the hell can we expect him to start without any help.
