Keep this in mind!!!! At the end April, none of this really matters. 1st, 2nd, 3rd rounder. Becuase any player drafted by any team can be a bust. So for all you know you got gold (a big time player) for Abe or you got squat (a bust) for Abe. Same for Den and Atl. At the end value doesn't matter. Who ever got the best end and worst end of this deal will not be known untill well after this draft and the players drafted WITH these picks play in the NFL. With that said: Draft Wisely. Good luck.
That's why I believe we will be packaging the picks to get #2 overall pick...Matt Leinart to the Jets baby.
I still do not know about that. Trading two first rounder's to move up two spaces? I believe there has to be some way we can trade up to #2 without expending both first rounder's.
Keep this in mind! Chris Simms is gonna be digging dirt out of his mouth with this aquisition for the Falcons!
I said Keep it in mind, meaning a lot of people prolly losing sight of that. I mean what if you guys got the 2nd overall for abe? I'm sure all of you would have been overjoyed. Then you go off and Draft Ryan Leaf. Let say you got a 6th rounder. I'm sure you guys would've been pissed as hell. Then you go off and draft Tom Brady. Just reminded that you guys shouldn't look too much into this. The end result of this whole Abe thing is far from decided.
That's about right. The 2nd rounder is worth 2600. The 4th (1800) and 29th (640) is 2440. You guys would be the ones getting better value. Might even have to pitch in a late rounder.
Keep the Mexicans Outa here If you dont think the 29th pick is a better position to be in than the 30th pick---take all you druggies back across the rio grande what a moron
Obviously that was probably the intention all along...get a first rounder so you can package it. Its like trading Abe and 4 overall for 2 overall (which I think is nuts but hey, its the NFL).
Not cool at all. Tell that to the Mexican/Americans that lost sons/daughters in Iraq. We are all Americans.
just keep 4 and 29. screw leinart we have ALOT of other holes to fill. chad, ramsey and brooks are enough. Lets get our oline back up to par and get some good players
To all the Jerk Falcon fans who were on the board last night spreading their ignorance: Well it looks like you southern punks still had to give up your #15 to get J Abe. well there you go you still gave #15 and gave the Jets a better pick at #29 than the Seahawks would have at #31. congrats you have yourself a great talent with no heart, keep this trade in mind as you watch J Abe hobble off to the sideline 4 times a game holding onto his hamstring.
