I think everyone who is atttending tommorow's game should wear nothing else but a # 80 jersey. Many of us have them. If you don't have one, GET ONE! If you can't get one wear NO SHIRT and paint a bib 80 On your chest and stomach. We should show him how much we miss him, love him and appreciate everyting he has ever sdone for us. Cherbet was just great, period. Nothing else. We should make the stadium a sea of # 80!

This is the only Jets jersey I have ever had or will.. my sister won it in the hoops game at Seaside too many years ago...she would still beat the pants off most who would ever...

And Wayne brings out the best in all of us...

    Be there or be...

I plan to wear mine unless it's as hot as the opener. Then I'll wear the reversable basketball jersey again. That was money--I wore the green side, showed up and saw the Jets in white, turned it around.

Anyone have any idea if the halftime ceremony will be aired on CBS, or SNY for those not attending the game can watch?

No way would CBS do that. It's just not that big of a deal. In the 3rd quarter they may show a 5-10 second clip of it.

SNY might show some or all of it, but doing so live I would doubt.

I think the most amazing thing about this is that we're actually GETTING a HT show. You know, a real one. If I have to see lame azzes try to get 10 yard FG's sponsored by some Erectile Dysfunction drug co. one more time, I'll scream.

Yep, Wayne was a great Jet, you bet. I'll probably well. I don't have an #80 jersey, but I can always get one painted on my cheek at one of those kid's face painting stations.

That game was actually in Champaign and it was the worst play of his career.

In that worst play he also showed exactly why he deserves the love. He went above and beyond for us fans from day 1.

Bullshit....Watch the play again. We sucked on offense and we were going nowhere. Chrebett tried to make a play because no one else was. He got the first leg over the second one got hung up causing the fumble. How can you fault someone for trying to make a play when no one else was

I have a Chrebet Jersey so it wasn't that hard to put it on. Never forget what he did. 99.9% of the time he was clutch & I hope they bring him back to retire his #80. In fact, I thought they should've retired it today.
