The Chad bashers were right. Chad is terrible. You can see from today's game that he clearly didnt properly teach Clemens how to play quarterback. Also, I know our defense gave up 17 points in one half against the Ravens bad offense but this is mainly due to Pennington not being to create any pass rush. In addition, Clemens is not getting that much time to throw with poor protection and poor blitz pickups by Pennington. Our running game looks pretty bad again but this is also due to Chad, he is not hitting the holes hard and finding the right lanes. For all Clemens supporters (and Chad bashers), have you guys ever watched the jets before? Or is this game today your first game? When Pennington plays, the Jets win. When he doesnt play, they always lose. Simple as that. But I know all of you will write this off as this being Clemens first game and that he played well in the preseason, which is much more important than the regular season. Chad bashers, please put down the kool aid and use your eyes when watching Jets games.
People who said to bench Chad don't know what they're talking about. Chad, based solely on experience, gives us the best chance to win. I'm not saying that he's gonna be here for the next 10 years but for the immediate future (at least) he's our best option...an option that a lot of teams would love to have. I'm sure Clemens will be ok in the long run...this isn't the best defense to go up against in your first start but I hope people didn't expect him to play like a pro bowl qb against the best defense in the league.
Really, the Jets are undefeated under Chad, and have never won a game without him. I'm going to check on that, be right back. - - - - - - - - - - - - - Nope, that appears incorrect, Chad has lost many games as our QB. is it really your position that because none of the QB's we've had to back up Pennington have ever been as good as him, no other QB the Jets can ever get will ever be? that seems awfully illogical, doesn't it?
Chad would have gotten his royal ass kicked today too. Human nature always tends to go with what's comfortable and in this case, the Chad groupies are all happy as hell that KC is getting shut down not only by the Ravens' defense but also by Shot's shithole playcalling as well.
The playcalling is not great, but the offensive line is the problem again. I hope it's just the Pats and the Ravens. If the Dolphins do this next week we're in trouble.

Whoever was quarterback would have gotten killed today. Maybe Chad would have been slightly better, but we wouldn't be doing much better.
We were going to lose with Chad too. We suck. Chad doesn't exactly score points against good Ds, and the Ravens are a good D.
Boller's paid his dues. He may actually be a decent QB after a season long timeout. Would not be the first time that's happened.
LOL, how horrible is this thread that you hav to try and take shots at a qb playing his first start to build chad up??? You've seen this Ravens D make Manning and Brady look stupid for 3 quarters, and those two have to win a game in the fourth. And if you didn't run away fro your TV before the 4th, You saw alot of that when KC figured out this team in the 4th. That's what the Jets need, stop being Chads BallBoys, his time is up.
This has to be the dumbest post ever.......The Jets lose when Chad doesnt play because the backups have always been horrible. end of story. How anyone can watch that 4th quarter and not realize why Chad holds this team back is beyond me. for all intents and purposes kellen clemens took this team on his shoulders and tied the game in BALTIMORE.(if not of course for the cut-inducing drops by that piece of shit jmac)....can you Chad supporters really be that blind????
