I haven't really heard about this, so if the Patriots have to forfeit their pick, do we get it, or does that pick just go to noone (as the Bengals pick did this year)?
Most likely not but the commissioner can decide to do that. We have to wait for his ruling, which at this point can be anything.
LOL    Why would they give you the pick??? Don't worry though, your team is so bad, that you might end up with the first pick in the draft anyway.
The latest speculation is a first round pick in 2008 and a 2 or 3 game suspension for Belichik. Goodell wants to make sure that Belichik can't duck out on the penalty by retiring or moving on at the end of the season. The other piece of speculation out there is that this is the last year of Belichik's contract with Patriots.
Thats terrible....So A Kid's potential dream of being drafted could go down the drain because of this? I think A team should get rewarded, just as if it were a tampering charge.
Thats fine with me AS LONG AS one of the games are when the Jets are at Foxboro.......Theres going to be bad blood and Goodell would be crazy to let Belichick coach against the Jets team after what happened, even if the game will be a big hypefest media wise.
I don't know what you mean here. Let's suppose the Patriots lose a 2nd round pick in 2008. The second round of the 2008 NFL Draft would only consist of 31 picks. Why should the Jets receive one of the Patriots selections? The Patriots have apparently been producing documentaries of other teams, as well.
Im saying that 1 less kid will be chosen in the draft. May not mean a big deal to casual fans, but it would for some of the lesser known schools and the seniors who are trying to get picked in the NFL.
