    If all is right in the world, both MVPs should come out of NY this year. The AL is more difinitively A-Rod's but the NL should be Wright as he now leads the league in win shares and has been the heart of the Mets since May. There's no other player that's been a more balanced offensive threat (with the bat, on the basepaths, and just getting on basein general) in the NL either.

    This is crap. 5 HRs in 5 games locks up AL player of the week? I would have went with J.D. Drew.
