I don't understand the crowd reaction at all and I'm not a Pennington guy. Pretty fckn classless IMO..
Were they cheering Chad going down? I kind of missed it (watching Mets too). If they did, those that did because he was hurt (as opposed to simply cheering Clemens coming in) are a bunch of a--holes.
I'm not going to make some generalization or blanket statement like "Jets fans are classless. That's not true of fair. But for those JO's who were chearing as Pennington courageously left the field you're all pu$$ies.
I hate Pennington, but one, you NEVER cheer for anyone getting hurt, especially on your own team. Two, he was having a good game and earning kudos in my book. Three, I have a soft spot for people with knee injuries after blowing mine out. Fuck those who cheered it. In the meantime, I'm going to go curl up and wither away somewhere.
wow, how classy was that. i want clemens in there too but to cheer while your QB is down with an injury is pathetic
Agree CMan...anyone who cheered is a complete pr*ck. I hope they are all recording the game. First to hear what idiots they are. And second, unless the line starts blocking they might miss the Clemens era.
he is back and i am glad because he is showing those f******* dicks in the stands up... feel like shooting those fuckers in the head
The Chad-haters can say what they want--that guy is friggin tough. He's back in already, and ready to go. Much as I'm impressed with Clemens, I'm disgusted that anyone who calls themselves a fan of our team would cheer at Chad being injured.
David Carr's line was better than this. Also, if you watched ANY NFL, you'd know David Carr just ducked and didn't stand in there trying tomake a play.
David Carr had the worst line in the NFL in front of him in Houston. Are you suggesting that the Jets have the worst offensive line in the NFL right now?
Glad to see we are in agreement that those fans that cheered when CP went down are garbage. You NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, fucking cheer when one of your players get hurt.
BTW, we can add one thing about Chad at this point: his pain tolerance is amazing. He played through the separated shoulder in 2004 and apparently is playing through a high ankle sprain today. That's an amazing degree of pain tolerance.
