Syracuse is not a big time college football program.

I'm talking USC, LSU, Oklahoma, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Michigan, Ohio State, etc.

Not Syracuse or Illinois. Not Howard University.

For the record, I didn't mention Howard.

The Big Ten Conference is major college football. It is a fact.

Is Syracuse at the same level of Ohio State, Oklahoma, Texas? No.
However, it is historically a good program.

Freeney's last year at Syracuse was a year in which Syracuse went 10-3 and were ranked 14th in the final poll. Syracuse also won a national championship.

Big time enough for you? Bob Sanders finished his career for back-to-back 8th ranked teams.

On 1-2-03 he played in the Orange Bowl against Southern California.
On 1-1-04 he played in the Outback Bowl against Florida.

I believe that their other starting safety also went to Iowa.

No, the other one (Antoine Bethea) went to Howard.

I think Dallas Clark is the only other Colt who played at Iowa.

I'm glad I drafted Reggie Bush. Jackass can't even catch a ball, which was the main reason I took him

Two points isn't gonna win me the championship, Reggie!

In the days of McNabb, they were pretty good. I don't consider them a big time program these days.

Whatever. You don't need to turn it into a huge argument.

And to me, conference doesn't mean a whole heck of a lot, considering the talent disparities in some of the conferences (Big 12 and Baylor ring a bell).

    Alabama A&M
    Syracuse
    Illinois
    Howard
    BYU
    Rutgers
    Temple
    San Diego State

I just thought that was interesting, because if you compare it to most defenses, you'll see.

At least you don't have Brees as your QB. Off to a bad fantasy start with that.

AFC 1 NFC 0. Let the dominance continue.
