Sorry for not being there, guys, had a sick hangover and was sleeping on the floor at my buddies place till about 2pm. Murrell, you have some absolutely sick recievers, that's gonna be awesome since its .5 PPR. I was looking at my team wondering how I didn't even get 1 #1 reciever, looks like I found out why lol. Soss' team is awesome too, he has my bet to winning the whole thing. I still like my team, I have 3 permanent RBs to play(including LT), a great QB, top defense and kicker, and a solid TE. My recievers are probably the worst I've ever seen on a 12 team league, but the team is definately still competitive. QB - McNabb, Jason Campbell RB - LT, Benson, Edge, Tatum Bell, Michael Turner (I'm glad the comp picked him up as a handcuff) WR - Santana Moss (pissed that Plax was still around), Stallworth, Joe Horn (I don't think he'll be as bad as most do), Troy Williamson TE - Kellen Winslow, Dave Martin K - Wilkins DST - Chicago, Carolina
I had to miss the draft too, but am not horrified by my team. Just found out that Dunn may not get the bulf of the carries, and Thomas is currently gimpy. I would consider trading Ownes or Moss to you straight up for Benson or LT (yeah, lol I know) or possibly and Edge/Bell combination. Let me know.
Ooooooo that's a tough call. I've been sitting here contemplating it for about 10 minutes. I'll think about it for a couple days and see, since there's plenty of time before the season anyways. I think we'll be able to work out some sort of deal, though.
Sounds good. The way my luck goes, if you take Moss, he'll get 15 TD's and Owens will tear his ACL in week 1, and of course the opposite if you take Owens. Win win for you.:breakdance:
Just a quick question. What is the criteria for waiver moves, as far as priority goes? Just wondering since it is preseason, and I lost out on a waiver to someone else who had priority. I know most leagues have priority once the season starts based on record, but how is this league working? If it's based on time, I know I was in there pretty early, and definately on the same day as said player was dropped, close to the time of my above post.
I think Yahoo's default is to set the waiver order opposite to the draft order, I was last to draft so I have first waiver pick. I dont think record matters, it stays that way until you pick someone up on waivers then you move to the bottom of the list. Here's my team, a bit late to post it. QB: Jay Cutler, Steve McNair RB: Jerious Norwood, Ahman Green, Chester Taylor, Lamont Jordan WR: Marvin Harrison, Chad Johnson, Jerricho Cotchery, Anthony Gonzales, Eddie Kennison TE: Vernon Davis, Greg Olson K: Josh Scobee D/ST: Minnesota, Oakland
