So far I have heard that Terrance Pennington was cut by the Bills.....he was a tackle and playe both sides....with all this talk about LG we need to remember that our right sideisless than solid as well\

...by the way, the one Bills board I read had a thread about how they should now sign Kimo....

Where the hell is ESPN.com on cut coverage? Nothing there. PFT is the only place I see any info.

I have been checking team sites but they are not as reliable as you might think

    Sign him.
We could use another Pennington on this team.

    Kffl...

KFFL is generally pretty solid with stuff like this, although i havent been on there much as of late.

im kinda surprised that buff is cutting OL considering they can use all the depth they can get.

i think (so far) vincent is the best available option as of now for interior lineman.

i still say moore is solid and clement has been servicable...i wanted the jets to sign langston walker this offseason, and buff ended up getting him.

Let's stick with what we have. Bender will be alright, just give him a few starts.

yeah, nothing speaks confidence in starting lineman like a 6th round draft pick.

No he won't not yet. He needs to be a backup that we work into the game to give the starter a rest....at least for his first season.. They really don't know that much about Bender yet. WE need to bring in someone that has legitimately earned a starting spot before instead of throwing him in there by default.

Moore is terrible. I remember in the game vs. Minn he spent most of the time on the ground watching the play. On this one play he dove on the ground which had me speechless as to why this guy is playing as a starter.

For the first time I'm starting to comfortable with Bender and Clarke playing LG. Bender more so.
Whilst not an ideal way to start the season off facing the likes of the Pats and Ravens it will throw them in at the deep end

Well....looking through all the team cuts there really isnt anyone at Guard that will be a big upgrade to us.....so unfortunately it looks like we're stuck unless we make a trade.

HMMMM - take a step back. Yeah I say that every year too, but I think we really are close with this team. One more good draft and we should have all the right pieces to make a run. My only question is? Is the missing few pieces in the draft or from other teams to get us over the hump. Like maybe a stong DE with 10 - plus sacks for pressure that we just dont have right now. Will it be Penny or Clemens who takes us there, the more we have to wait the less likely it will be Penny. Too many questions before the season even starts but these are my views at the moment.

It doesn't matter if you don't have a line. Think about it....the right side of our line is no good either, but the left is getting the focus because there is a huge hole at LG.

    Plus, we run a 3-4 now.....I assume you know how the 3-4 scheme works....so where are the 10 sack DEs in 3-4 defenses? It's a 3-4 defense......a 3-4 defense

Unless Mangini switches back and forth from the 3-4 to the 4-3 we will have no DE with 10 plus sacks. But we have to come up with a way to get more pressure in the backfield. I would have to say that is the one missing pieces we need to push us over the top. But again it is way to early to speculate.
