For those nonbelievers Check out the links below. Go down the page a little on both. http://www.profootballtalk.com/rumormill.htm http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/football/jets/2007/08/19/2007-08-19_chad_vows_quick_fix_after_pair_of_picks.html
Because now Belechick knows to prepare for Jones in week 1. Now, I don't think there's any question that Belechick knows how to prepare his football team, but if you had the choice of him guessing that Jones could be healthy, or him knowing that Jones will be healthy, I'm sure we'd all rather him not know for sure. It's like someone standing over your shoulder and announcing your poker hand.
No he doesn't. Mangini's whole plan of pretending Chad is still a noodle arm is working to perfection. Doesn't allow a pass in game 1 and then allows the Vikings Defense to smother him in game 2.... Closed practices are coming soon where Chad is going to work on the long ball and Unleash it on the Pats in game 1.... Aerial Attack here we come
.. And regarding this thread..... Of course Mangini doesn't want Agents to discuss injuries.. Thanks for pointing out the obvious - Here's a STAR...Congrats.
Would have been better if Rosenhaus kept his mouth shut but I think Belicheck would have prepared for Jones week 1 regardless. He's not that dumb to not prepare for him. The organization clearly keeps their injuries quiet and Mangini was angry about the rule being broke rather than Belicheck knowing Jones will play week 1.
you mean "flack" right? because slack doesn't make sense. though few of these pre-season threads make much sense anyway...
i think it has more significant impact on the pats gameplan week one than most people think. If jones is known to be injured and limited, they will prep more for leon washington who is a very different running back from jones. I could totally understand mangini being pissed and TJones may also be pissed off at rosenhaus
