I thought that this guy played outstanding last night. Did a lot of little things and made a lot of nice tackles. He is definitely our future at ILB. Only question in my opinion is who does he replace? Vilma or Barton? I think he has the talent to surpass Barton by mid season.
I think he is going to beat out Barton by midseason. IMO he will really help out Vilma and we will have a monter ILB duo.
As of today however Barton has played better than Vilma this preseason and has done very well in tc according to various reports. I still wanna see more from Vilma... Harris is looking good I liked the pick from day one.
I'm impressed with the progress he has made since the first week of tc. He's really learning the system and getting more comfortable with where he is supposed to be. He is thinking less and reacting more. he's comin' on and will be a bigtime player.
Its true though. JV is a great 3-4 LB , not a very good 3-4 LB at the moment. Maybe he is the odd man out.
I know, I was being sarcastic. I have high hopes for Harris, and feel hes ideal to the 3-4. But for him to take over for vilma and not barton is silly IMO.
