Thomas Jones being out of the line-up was actually huge tonite for the Jets. I believe it was a bigger factor than I ever wouldv'e thought. He makes everyone on the Jets' side of the ball better & more confident. Jets' can also lean on him offensively. Defenses don't like to tackle him cause he runs so hard & with Barnes (THE KRUSHER) leading the blocking....its brutal for defenses. Wait til the cold weather comes. Jets' will run teams into the ground.

People are kind of making it seem like our running game was horrible. We averaged over 4 yards a carry for the most part. Washington almost 5 yards a pop. This game just had bad playcalling, but I don't really care because its preseason. People are overrating it so much.

Thank you, anyone with any football sense realizes you cannot look into preseason at all. How many teams went undefeated in preseason and were terrible in come September and how many teams were exactly the opposite. Preseason means NOTHING!

Pennington calling bad audibles and throwing pick sixes tonight was "HUGE".

    But hey...it's preseason.

I don't think so, we still had an effective run game, the run game is the last thing on my mind right now, we have a run game!

What worries me is the play of the quarterback and the ability to stop the run on defense, which was horrible tonight.

Our running game didn't have anything to do with this loss.

You're right, it was the bad decisions by the starting QB.

I second that, but I think it was the Vikings running game that did.

Missing Jones was huge. I mean, it obvious that Washington and Ware did nothing Last night. May as well cut them both now if thats all they can muster.

Thomas Jones would have solved that pass rush? Our O line was penetrated before any reciever could get 5 yards....on every play!

Keep in mind Minnesota had one of the best run defenses ever last season...
