I havent seen many people adress the need for a cornerback yet after Ty left. Is there anybody worth getting out there, draft or free agent? Or am I just crazy and we dont really need any cornerbacks?

I don't know if you're crazy or not, but corners aren't high on our list right now.

ur prolly right, we need some cb's. but we went 4-12 last season, we have a ton of holes to fill and cb isnt the hole we chose to go after...i bet next offseason we'll go hard for CBs unless miller and barret are incredible next season. and i wouldnt be suprised to se the jets take a cb in the 3rd or 4th round, so ur not crazy lol

Strait is there too. Oh sure, we need some depth, but that can be addressed in the draft or a minor FA signing.

I see CB as a need.
I don't think Barett is very good. Hopefully Miller can step in an be successful, but they need to consider depth and if there's an opportunity to grab a future starter they should.

linemen are a priority in this draft though.

I think Daniell Manning from Abilene Christian would be a major steal in round three but i feel the jets will address the offensive line in those rounds.

what about SAFETY????? Kerry Rhodes and Erik Coleman? U kidding? I remember how Coleman was embarrassed in that Sunday night game toward the end of the season last year (think it was against the saints). Our secondary in general is pretty pathetic. Law wasnt even that good for us- just right place right time let him accumulate all those picks and made him look really good.

The JETS dont have a FS & SS. THey are interchangable, so moving him to FS wouldnt do anything. AND i think that we are fine atthe safety positions, i agree that we need CB help

Birdbrain Bradway drafted 5 safties the last 3 draft--let's play a few of them a while before we draft more

We don't need a corner. We have three solid ones, and we can pick up a depth player in the 7th. The Belicheck/Mangini system does not revolve around corners, it revolves around the safeties and front three pressure.

We could draft a corner in the middle rounds, but I'd love to sign Andre Dyson.
