With Jody Mac this morning. Said one thing that disappointed me. He said that Kendall is a far better player then Clarke on the OL and that Mangini's "the best player plays," seems to be going out the window in this case. Also didn't seem overly impressed with Clemens. The one positive I got out of it is he said that Stuckey big time belongs.

i wonder if he's really observed this or if he's just assuming this about Kendall.

Doesn't seem to be a whole lot of good things said about Clemens these days. Hopefully he'll step it up when/if he ever gets the chance; I can't wait to see him play in the preseason.

Hmm, pretty sure everyone has reported Kendall taking snaps with the first team, no?

By all accounts Kendall has been pretty much dogging it through camp, and is only there to avoid being fined. He has alienated himself from everyone else and wants nothing to do with the Jets. Why should Mangini play him with the first team?

Obviously not exclusively, but he's been in and out. Obviously Mangini is giving him the chance to prove he's irreplacable.

I think we really lucked out to get Stuckey as late as we did in the draft. He's got a LOT of potential.

yeah, that's exactly what i meant. so the negative press towards Clarke isn't really because he's not that good, but because no one's seen enough of him yet.
