Cracking a joke about someone's kid sister is just not a good idea, no matter how harmless you may have thought it was.
I rarely post but I have a hard time believing the 'I didn't mean to insult' part. If you ran into him in a bar or on the street, would you have said the same thing?
Yeah.. the Netherlands is the name of the dorms. The best way I can explain to get there is when leaving practice to keep walking straight. You will walk past a tall building, some kind of art display, and a building under construction. Eventually you will hit an avenue... cross the street and that's the dorms they stay at. There's usually some people there.. not many.
Did you stick around and ask Coles who's better, him or the uncle who molested him as a child? He probably would have had a laugh at that one.
Someone related to Coles (his uncle or step father) actually molested him as a child. That is a true story.
More like a rebuke of a bad decision by jetglass. And its easy to sit here with our 20/20 hindsight and call him out, but it wasn't that bad. It was in the moment, he was meeting some of his favorite pro-football stars, and he just said the first thing that came to his mind. A lot of us would have done the same thing. No biggie.
He may have also taken it as an insult to his abilities. Making a comment involving a guy's fat sister can definitely be taken the wrong way. Next time you see him, tell him that he's rated way too low in Madden '08, that's always good for an ego boost.
Thats the dumbest thing anyone has ever typed on this board. I don't know of many people who get a chuckle out of child molestation jokes.
I do remember a moderator saying after the Oprah/Coles show that anyone who cracks a Coles joke is going to get banned, possibly permabanned. Not only does this fall into that category, this goes way over that line. I think yer toast, fg214.
No offense, but I can't blame Mangold for taking what you said that way. He was right.. you were not.
