Well now...it's been quite a hiatus for me (lots going on in my personal life) so I have some catching up to do!!!! Just to show you how long it's been....Kudos to the Stillers for winning the superbowl! Razberries for the f*&%'n officiating! Now that's done....time to weigh in on matters of more importance. I like the Ramsey signing...we get a $1.6million dollar stop gap and I always like a cheap stop gap. Could he possibly win the starting job?? Stranger things have happened! At the very least he adds good, starting experience, depth to our QB pool. His arrival does not mean we will not draft a QB this April...leading me on to the next topic. I'm not sure how I feel about Cutler. Sounds like a big strong kid...sounds like he has some accuracy...but who has he played?? Now I understand he didn't have the talent around him that someone like a Lienart or Young...but unlike some folks around here I don't look at the 40 yard dash etc....I look at the football product. I guess time would tell...I won't kill myself if they take him...but I'd rather have Lienart. Now what I really like is the hiring of Tangini as you all so have labeled them. I love the way they are handling the Abraham gig...They are shrewd and businesslike...unlike that assclown Badway!!! He probably would have gotten fleeced for Abraham and OUR 2nd round pick! LOL I think these two will take the Jets in the right direction. I am seriously jacked about not getting the WSS!! And it pisses me off that I will now have to continue to fly to Newark and drive through that mess to get to see my boys! Much rather hit LaGuardia take a taxi and be done with it! REALLY don't like the fact we're doing it with the Giants either!! ce la vie... Anyway...must roll as I'm at work...but the football knowledge will be flowing soon....just kind of ramping myself up and getting ready... Peace! the Mezz

From someone who hasn't seen that much of your work here, I have to say you have a near legendary rep around here! Glad to see you back. Message boards are always filled with.... um... less than football astute people, that take themselves too seriously, but in any case, I hope you post frequently. I'm curious what your additional thoughts on Cutler might be... from what I've read and heard, the Titans are VERY high on this kid, from Floyd Reese, to Norm Chow and Jeff Fisher. I think they have Cutler above Leinart on their board now, and that's saying something with Chow being there. Do you think this is a misdirection play? I'm not sure they need to worry about that, given their draft slot. Your departure was very much lamented around here.... I hope whatever the personal stuff you mentioned and frustration you might have had posting are over and done with!

Hey Mezz.... Wow! Long time amigo. I retired for almost three years and have just recently resurfaced. I've been wondering about others who have been long lost. My personal life is now back on-track and I'm glad yours is too. Peace, brother!
