I happen to believe this story. Ramsey will be a good third stringer. As for Cowboy- why is it that all sox fans have to find some small crap morsell to exicite themselves?
OK fine... you got me. I'm an Alpo fan. But lately my wife's been sticking Eukanuba in her cooking and I gotta say...... forget it, I can't diss the ALPO.
Why do people think this precludes the Jets from taking a QB in the draft. Right now we have 1 quarterback, Ramsey, who may or may not be a starter, a definite solid backup. Pennington is done and if you think differently you are smoking some crack. Pat Kirwan on NFL network yesterday said if the Jets got Schaub you can forget about drafting a QB, but if they got Ramsey that would not necessarily stop them from drafting a QB, all depends on how high they rate Leinart or Cutler.
Yes but QB is the most important position on the team and they still have not brought a starting QB here. We have 1 QB on the team right now and he is a question mark as to whether he will be a successful starter. We gave up literally zero to get him, so I don't think it changes the Jets philosophy for the draft at all. IF they wanted to draft Leinart or Cutler before this move, then this move will not change that.
because we probably will be bad next year and if were going to draft a QB it would be smart to wait a year (quinn, stanton, brohm if he comes out)...next year could be another good QB class (those are just some of the more mentioned names)
I don't think they intended on drafting a QB from the start. They would have had to trade up to get matt and I don't think they were that high on cutler or young from the start. This is just my opinion though, I don't have any informers from the Jets nor have I found many who agree with me but nonetheless it's still my opinion.
Thanks for the scoop CowboyUp. Anyone who thinks you had to reveal your source is koo-koo. The facts proved you right. And no one with such a good source would ever reveal who it is. Good deal for the Jets. Ramsey could turn out to be the starter. Giving up a sixth round pick was a no brainer. But does this show how vulnerable the Jets are with Abraham. Just like with Ramsey, everyone knows the Jets have to dump Abraham for whatever they can get. Abraham's value is dropping fast.
I somehwat disagree with the JEts being vulnerable in regards to Abraham...we still have him franchised, and could still sign him to a LT deal..which I think he would sign if given the right $$$
looks like the jets called atlantas bluff with signing of ramsey.the jets cannot take less then a 1st round pick and more from atlanta.atlanta has already commited to abraham.so now it is up to the jets to stand firm.
