we are still in the same situation. Abe will be a Falcon, I truly believe, its just a matter of time! However, I think its going to be for a 2nd round and maybe another round next year. Schaub will not be part of the deal unless we part with Ramsey. So, we're still at square 1.
How are we at square one? We added an experienced QB with starting potential to our roster for cheap.
what do you mean. I'ts either schaub or ramsey.I'ts not exactly the qb answer but for now it will work.
I think now we're in a position to deal with ATL and not be forced to center the deal on Schaub, so that's progress. We've also secured the QB position for at least a year which frees us up in the draft, so that's progress. And we screwed Snyder isntead of him screwing us, so that's progress, too. I'm pretty pleased, I must say.
Nothing wrong with a 2 and a 3. Look at some of the players that you can get in the 2nd and 3rd round. 2 first day picks is less risky then 1 first round pick who gets a huge salary. Of course if we got the 15th pick we could trade down from that and get more picks. I'm skeptical that Atlanta would give up the 15th pick and a ton of money for Abraham. Ideally we could get a 2 and a 4 this year and a 1 next year. That would work nicely but that would be ideal.
JETS GET: -Schaub -2nd Round Pick -Conditional 2007 Pick FALCONS GET: -Abraham -Ramsey -4th Round Pick
