    Typical dirt bag insurance company; I’m sure the assumption for a lot of people is that Curtis doesn’t “Need” the five million…but its principle. Insurance companies love to gamble but they hate to pay up when they lose.

    I hate insurance companies with every fiber in my body. They get paid and paid and paid but when someone makes a claim for what they've been paying for they fight it and then raise your payments. Scum of the earth.

    Why was he playing until 12/4 if the hit took place early in the year as he claimed?

    Curtis and Herm claim he was hurt in the Miami game in mid September. If that was the case and he continued to play until December it's negligence on his part. My guess is they settle for a reasonable amount.

    Lloyd's of London is known for denying claims....they drag shit out in the courts to keep collecting interest payments.

    i totally f-ing agree, the jets should help martin by getting him a lawyer and fighting this crap, i didnt read the article but i can imagine.

    Can't blame herm edwards for if he didnt run curtis martin that year he would of not had that rushing title.... thats a proud accomplishment one step below a super bowl ring i say

    In 2005 Curtis played through his horrible knee pains until Dec when he shut it down because we had no chance.

    Curtis Martin is a warrior!
