Oh, I hope that's a joke. How could Miami draft somebody that they had no idea was wearing a boot on a sprained ankle.

I didn't like the Ginn pick, I didn't want Quinn either but it is what it is. But c'mon, the kid is going to be in a boot for another month. It's not like the Fins will be facing the Jets this coming Sunday.

Ginn will be fine for the season. He'll have a Hester Light season as a returner. His WR career is a total toss up.

Either way the Dolphins have made very poor draft choices the last couple of years. What ever happen to Jason Allan?

I'm seriously starting to think the problem is Huizenga. It took awhile for the Jet's talent deficit of the 70's to sort itself out and then almost immediately Hess upset the applecart by forcing out walt Michaels. Basically everything after that until Parcells showed up was a function of bad management.

A fish rots at the head and the fish are rotting right now.

This has got to be the AJ Duhe~Mud Bowl Karma train coming back around, 25 years later.

That's not a fair comparison is it, Pepper tore three ligaments in his knee while Ginn sprained his ankle when an idiot teammate dragged him down after returning the opening kickoff in the championship game.

Jason Allen was never injured, the big deal with him was that he sustained a serious hip injury his JUNIOR year. He held out and came late to TC, our then idiot coach was flip flopping him from CB to S every day at TC and the poor kid never caught up in terms of learning the system.

Got me there, I thought it was junior year. But he was physically ready to go when TC started, again what set him back was the holdout. The Fins wanted him to sign a 6-year contract and he wanted to sign a 5-year deal.

Whatever the situations were regarding the Dolphins past couple of drafts, Dolphin fans everywhere are beginning to see what Jets fans have been through over the years, particularly the post Walt Michaels years through Kotite's era (roughly 11-12 years). I'm talking bad ownership, bad management, a revolving head-coaching door, piss-poor drafting, and total fan apathy. Jimmy Johnson came into town virtually promising a championship but never drafted an offense. He ran out of town after that embarrassing 62-7 defeat to the Jaguars. Miami never searched for a new coach going right to Wannstadt despite his previous disasater in Chicago. Wannstadt never replaced the QB position after Marino retired. Then along comes Nick Saban who quickly made enemies in the Dolphins front office, made terrible draft selections himself, and signed Culpepper over Brees. The attitude in South Florida is pretty bad - Cam was booed off the stage at the team's headquarters moments after announcing the Ginn selection - he was so taken aback he began talking about Ginn's family. Wayne Huzenga stood off to the side glaring - he told several reporters he even wasn't happy with the selection. It looks like the owner - who's not a football guy - has no idea about his own front office. Cameron has no head-coaching credentials - he posted one losing season in college- and several Chargers players whispered that it was his game plan that cost the Chargers the playoff game against NE. This Dolphins franchise is being run just as the Jets were during Leon Hess's days and if you're a Dolphins fan that is pretty scary........
