    Not worth the $6.5M he was supposed to get, but would be a great backup plan in case Penny gets hurt again.

    Alot of people disagree but I would take him in a second. For a good price however.

    Alot of you guys see him as a backup, but if the Jets were to sign him tommorrow I feel he'd have as good a chance to start for the Jets next season as anyone on your roster now - or anyone you might draft.

    Honestly, you guys aren't going anywhere next season. I think Brooks is probably a better alternative to Bollinger, assuming Chad isn't ready at season start and he'd make a good stop gap if your coaching staff decides that whatever rookie you draft would be better served with a Clipboard in his hands for a season.

    Assuming you draft a QB that is.

    Hmmm I bet you thought the same thing after 2003 when Chad went down and needed surgery. Wouldn't think Martin would have ran for 1,700 yards either in 04. Don't count the Jets out as the division champions.

    I'd rather have Brooks for one year than Schaub locked up for multiple seasons.

    Ive been saying all along Aaron Brooks if Pennington cant go we have a proven starter.Even if we draft a qb he wont be ready this year.Brooks had decent numbers on a terrible team and took them to the playoffs.

    As far as us going anywhere how about you? Culpepper still injured who is your backup maybe you should look at Brooks.And is Rickey suspended again.Are you Jason Taylor because you seem like a whiner like him.
