We're doomed forever. It doesn't matter who we draft, theirs will be better.

I agree. After how great things have been going for them in the last 3 months, this is the next step really. We'd be lucky if we 1 in the next 10 years.

No matter whhey pick everyone will tell us how great of a draft NE had, they do it ever year even though they haven't had a real god draft since 2003.

Funny, coming from someone who only says bad things about the Patriots. Consistently. We could trade for LT, and you would have over 30 posts in various forums talking about what a bad RB he is. It's like clock work.

Sorry if Wilfork & Watson don't walk on water from '04.

I think Mankins, Kaczur and Hobbs worked out well from '05, but that's right, they are not instant Pro-Bowlers, so they must not be 'real good'.

As for '06, I'll give them another year before they are judged. From any team.

The draft could be the day before the season starts and they would still have 10 immediate Pro Bowlers ready to take the field. (hey, I work nights, man, I don't even pay attention to what the date is)

I think you are kidding based on the smiley but you never know. I know I have been critical of alot of NE's moves this offseason but I have been very coplimentary of them in the past. I just call it as I see it.

The Pats are going to dominate in 2007. Perfect season anyone?

ESPN's Len Pasquarelli is reporting that the Super Bowl will no longer be the AFC's best vs. the NFC's best. Rather, it will be the Pat's starters vs. the Pat's backups. Tom Brady and crew will have a tough time against Future-HOFer Matt Cassell.

It's going to be especially embarrassing for us when a rookie 7th round pick for the Pats turns the tide against the Jets in game 1 and sets the tone for a dismal Jets season. Not only will they crush our hopes for a surprising sophomore year, they will also kill the spirit of the Phins in the same season as legend-killers. No more toasts for the 72 Dolphins. It makes me a little happy and a little sad at the same time. No, I guess it makes me more sad than anything. This is so depressing. Good call, fen.

Guys, I'm going to feel like the Jets are an awesome team if they pick up more than 10 yards rushing against the Pats this season total.

Their run defense looks like a killer, and should allow an average of -5.3 yards a game. This is of course going to be aided when they drop the Bills RB for -3.2 yds/carry and have a sacktastic game, picking up 11 sacks in each game they play them. I wish they'd let the Jets go to the NFC, because the Pats are just going to be amazing.

Oh, and I hear they plan on drafting some no name in the 7th round who Belicheck is going to harness into a combination Return man/Punter/Wide Receiver/Linebacker. They won't release where they're getting him from yet, but since he's so unknown, they're safe drafting him 7th round. I think that's the guy you're talking about, abyzmul.
