Married on the 1st-Game on the 2nd.
You can still make the game. a 3 hr flight back home can get you there in plenty of time especially if you go straight to the game from the airport.

 

I see anther 10-6 season. But maybe, just maybe, we pull off a 11-5.

 

That's good stuff. You can barely call that an away game at all. Huge advantage.

 

That schedule is definitely alot tougher than last year, there really are only a few gimmes.

We will have to be substantially better than last year to win 8 games.

 

Tough games to start the season can be a good thing. I like the schedule.

The Bye right before Pittsburgh/Dallas is nice too. Prepare for both games during that week.

I think the Jets might just do better in 07 than they did in 06. :beer:

When I checked NFL.com for the schedule, the first 8 weeks of the NFL schedule had the normal 1:00 and 4:00 games. Starting in Week 9, every game was either 2:00 or 5:00 and it wasn't because of regional time differences... They've since fixed that.

Yup and right now I'd say we are much better heading off into the draft than we were heading into the 2006 draft. Whether that will carry over through the mini-camps, training camp and into the regular season is dependent essentially on luck, destiny and the machinations of our FO and CS.

I have no idea if the first two factors will go with us or against but I trust the 3rd one.

what better way to end the season as to knock Herm and his chifs out of the playoffs on a Sunday Night game in NY....i would love that!

 

All in all, this looks like a very tough schedule. Somebody predicting 11-5 is very optimistic. we will have our work cut out for us - that is for sure. This year is way tougher than last year. This year could be the year when we take a little step backwards. I hope not, but it is going to be tough - I think I said that.

 

Take a look at that early season schedule and I wouldn't bet on an injury free year like last year either.

 

I think the Chiefs will be waaaay out of the playoff race by then.

Going to Miami after 10 day rest from the turkey day game in Dallas is nice
