Was just going to post this, even had the link ready, so I'll post it anyway. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2369949 I would've liked to have gotten him, great 3-4 player, too bad. Another good signing by the Browns.
Good for him. Sad to see him go, but he is reuniting with Romeo. He'll always be a 3-Time Super Bowl Champion Patriot.
Willie was a great player and a class act. He'll be missed every bit as much in the lockerroom as on the field. The fact that NE didn't make him any kind of offer speaks volumes about where they feel his career is headed at 35 years old. The salary cap forces teams to make these types of decisions and Belichick decided it was time to move on. Browns or not, McGinest will always be remembered as a Patriot.
http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=simmons/060315 Interesting take on how the situation with vets who are synonymous with one team (like McGinest) is handled.
