I was bored. Going through some message boards. [URL="http://www.theredzone.org/cgi-bin/dcforum/dcboard.pl?az=read_count&om=8&forum=DCForumID28[/URL] I think patrirats fans are getting nervous.
That didn't sound too bad to me - too much 'you guys need a reality check' and othe cliches, but on the whole the things he brings up are fair enough. I don't agree with all he says, but that isn't a mindless rant.
The Patriots wide receivers? Reche Caldwell aka "Bug Eyes," Jabar Gaffney, Kelly Washington, and Wes Welker aren't exactly going to cause the Jets to lose sleep at night. The jury is still out on Chad Jackson and lets see if Stallworth can stay healthy. As for Welker, his stats against the Jets last year were 7 catches for 78 yards (second game only 1 catch for 11), no TDs, and 1 fumble. Plus Andre Dyson was hurting in that playoff game too.
I don't know, for a Pats fan he's really not that much of a dick. They are better than us. I still wouldn't trade our wrs for theirs. We'll see on the field.
Who cares what other teams fans think? What weight do they hold??? Look at last year every fan and analyist prdicted the jets last . Lets just wait and see if they'll eat their words again....:gpc: It would be great to see the Pathetics (Patriots) just crash and only win 2 games against the Jills .:gpc: :gpc:
It made no sense what they predicted. We sucked in 05 because Pennington missed 13 games and Martin 4. We were in the playoffs the year before and were a missed FG from the championship game. The team didn't change that much at all. Last year we had the easiest schedule in the league Why wouldn't we win 10 games?
Well he has a point with most of it, but it's the same thing people said last year. So we shouldnt worry about this, we just need worry about the Jets having a good season.
talent wise, we have lost some ground. but last year was our first year with a new O scheme, and a new D scheme. so we gain a lot of ground in continuity.
Of the 12 playoff teams we had the 6th or 7th (don't recall for sure) ranked schedule based on regular season opponents W/L records. I hate when people talk about our "soft schedule".
