    Why the hell would it be sad? They're giving the family a moment to remember him, but while the crowd might be somber for 30 seconds, after that, it's baseball time again.

    It will NOT be sad in the House that Ruth Built today.

    I guess that's why only a handful of the "classy" Yankee organization showed up to pay their respects at his services.

    Your kidding right... this is real life. In real life, even family can't make a funeral sometimes, nevermind a memorial service, or a first pitch being thrown out. Grow up. Does that make the pain any less, does that make the thought behind the act not count. No... it means this is real life, nothing to do with "class"

    The memorial service was days after his death, which was days after the end of the Yankee season. Those guys must have filled up their schedules pretty quickly, or maybe they were just planning on being bounced in the first round. Either way for only a handful of people from the organization to show up to the services is classless in my opinion. Yesterdays services were nice, but comforting the family of a friend during their time of need is what classy people do "in real life".
