WTF are you talking about I knew Price was a BS pick up for you guys the guy was a #2 WR who was catching all the left overs from Moulds..

Abe is an absolute beast playing in the NFC against some bs lines he will go off..

I stil can't understand you see Price all over again..If Price was the #1 reciever not getting easy coverage I would sympathize would you.

At this point we can just trade Abe to the Seahawks for #31 and maybe a 4th rounder as well...then with #31 you package that along with a 3rd rounder this year and move up to #2...especially if we aren't getting Schaub.

    So it would be...

Jets Give: #4 overall, #31 overall, 3rd rounder this year...

    Saints Give: #2 overall...

I like this deal because we wouldn't be losing a ton of picks from the future and this year...

Why not add Bollinger to the mix?

First I like Bollinger and think he could turn out to be a good 1st string QB.

Why don't the Jets sweeten it by including Brooks. Something like

    Abe and Brooks to Atlanta

Schaub, 2nd and third or 2nd and 2nd next year

Seems like this would get it done. League view on Brooks is actually pretty positive.

Their obviously playing hardball. Abe is worth their first, the falcons know abraham would make their defense tremendously better.

They are playing hardball, but I doubt they give up the #15 at any point.

brooks isn't worth a 2nd or 3rd rounder, which is what you are implying

I like that idea of packaging Brooks, I like him, but he is LOOSELY in the Vick mold, wouldnt be a completely different O when Ron Mexico is banged up, just a fair bit slower.

I am fine with Brooks as a 3rd, but the guys days are numbered, Schaub is more than serviceable if you ask me, good size, decent arm, still young and has played at this level.

wow. what an idiotic trade proposal.

you're essentially saying at the end of the day- let's trade the #4 pick, J-Abe AND a pick at the top of the 3rd round to move up 2- count 'em- 2 spots.

praise the lord you aren't our GM.

Well I do understand your concern, but thats about what it would take to move to #2. According to the point chart #21 overall and #4 overall would make the deal even...

See no reason why Abe and the Chiefs 4th for Schaub and their 2nd wouldnt be accepted by both teams.

well that chart can kiss my balls lol

sorry penny im not lashing out at you just quoting you cuz that made me angry to think wed do such a thing.

everyone seemed fine on their cutler wagon until brees went to NO

    WHAT HAPPENED? lol

and i dont support any of the qb's really even tho i have a lil bias towards leinart, if your talking about what seems the most secure pick=leinart, best player=young, best prospect=cutler

i just dont foresee Mangini trading away his best defensive player in order to use that pick to trade up two picks to draft a QB.

I have a hunch we stay at 4, and we dont pick a QB. In fact, we may be picking defense.

I think we'll either stay at #4 or trade DOWN
