As long as women walk the earth, millionaires will never have trouble getting laid.

Well I did change my location TO Baltimore. I also came from a small town and not used to living even close to a city. But Baltimore does have high crime and murder rate but it is just like any city. It has its nice areas and its bad ones, it is like that in any city. The positive too it all is that since M&T and Camden Yards are a 15 minute walk away the commute to work wont be tough at all. On top of that the nightlife in the very nice areas are one of a kind.

Tough to judge a place without actually living in it. But I agree its not the best city in the world but it is a hell of a lot better than Washington DC. Which is the nations capital.

what I'm saying is that your profile lists you as living in New Jersey.

Every city has crime and murder. The point is that Baltimore is consistently at the top of those categories for American cities.

I would agree that it's somewhat better than Washington, DC. I've been in both places several times (Baltimore and DC).

granted this guy was probably spoiled with miami and south beach and whores in g-strings for his four years of undergraduate education but you cannot go to buffalo and sincerely expect it to be as good or remotely as fun as miami. id be fucking thrilled that they have a fridays, applebees and dave and busters cause for bufallo, thats a huge step. think about it like this... its barely considered NY since its so far west and north. when the great lakes formed buffalo got stuck in the US when it was meant to be in Canada.

so, willis... enjoy baltimore. its a pretty city with zero bar life and like five good resturaunts.

I lived in Buffalo for a bit so I understand the knocks but seriously, he's not a party-going college student anymore. He's supposed to be a professional.

You're right, although DC's and Baltimore's murder rates are pretty similar. Both are among the highest for large cities in the country - only New Orleans was higher (pre-Katrina). On some lists of overall crime, Baltimore is actually rated a little worse than DC (this one, for example).

Of course, it's not like he's actually going to live in the city of Baltimore anyway.

So what? I've lived in both DC and Baltimore (both places were rated high for murder at the time) and not once did I ever feel my life was in danger, or my safety threatened. I actually enjoyed living in Baltimore. Not DC, though.

Baltimore is not the absolute best place to live, but quoting a stat doesn't make it worse.

No, but the stat tells you something about the bad areas in Baltimore and the sheer volume of said bad areas.

I never felt my life was in danger in Baltimore, either. I've been there about 50 different times. But it all depends on where you are.

Exactly the point, it depends where you are. Some parts of Baltimore are the most dangerous but there are plenty of good areas that out weigh the few bad bad areas. Baltimore is a pretty big city and has many many different parts. But it seems we all are in agreement about this.

I personally work in both in the heart of DC and Baltimore and I really gotta say I feel a lot safer in Baltimore then I do anywhere in downtown DC. But thats what is expected.

Also, whoever said there is no where to drink hasnt been in the Federal Hill, Canton, and Fells Point area. Plenty of places to drink with a younger successful crowd in the 25-30 age range.
