Know what? This Jets fan gives you props for the way you are in this thread. I know you aren't apologizing to me, but your posting last year really annoyed me, and it looks like you've grown up. Green can do well there. Miami is not so far away from turning it around, believe me. They have some really good pieces.
No, dude, Damon Huard. He of 11 TDs and 1 pick last year. I don't know if he can be blamed for the playoffs where every play was a telegraphed Larry Johnson into the line for no gain.
Trent Green WAS one hell of a QB, and he had the best offensive line in football, along with 2 great running backs behind him. He will be mediocre at best in Miami.
Herm was quoted the other day saying that Croyle will have every opportunity to win the starting job. Yeah right....
Blitz, just do me one favor if this goes down... Overhype Green like you did Feeley and Culpepper and i'll hop on board.
I can't trash a loyal fan for supporting his team. I'm optimistic about every Jets offseason myself (I was even optimistic after Kotite took over in early 95, what can I tell you?). This is why I try not to make too many predictions around here. It's a crap shoot...
I for one would be much happier to see Green in Miami than Carr. Both are gambles at this stage in their careers, but I think there is a better chance of Carr finding himself under Cam than Green turning young again.
