Thinks he is a very good young QB, and that the Abe for Schaub deal is a great one. Says he is the type of QB that can adapt to a system, plays well in a system, and would play well in the Jets system with their surrounding talent. Called him a "smart/heady" QB and prefers him over Ramsey. Colin "The Herd", is someone who I listen to a lot and greatly respect. Most of the time he makes great points, backs them up intelligently and is honest. He keeps off the speculation and opinions for the sake of being opionated like most Sports Analysts. I tend to agree with him here, I am NOT an expert on Ramsey or Schaub, but I would def take Schaub over Ramsey any day, based on the little bit I have seen them play, and the fact that ATL does not want to get rid of Matt and the deadskins cannot wait to clear up some cap room and be rid of Ramsey. Thoughts? Ramsey or Schaub?
Neither please. Schaub did play well in that one game, but he is a unproven player. Ramsey, while I do think he could be ok to challenge Penny for this year, he really doesn't have much upside. In the end I hope that the Jets make the correct move at QB and only time will tell. I just hope it is for Matt Leinart.
I've been very high on Schaub for awhile now. Ideally for me Abe goes to Atlanta for Schaub and their 2nd round pick. Options become unlimited from that point on. My preference would be to take D'Brick at 4 and someone like Maurice Drew with the mid 2nd pick. Add alot of youth and talent to the offense just by trading a guy who doesn't want to be in Green and White.
Yeah I guess that didn't make much sense. At this point I would just prefer to make a splash at QB and get a top prospect. I won't be upset if we get Matt Schaub...I would just prefer Leinart.
Yeah exactly... his argument makes no sense. And age isn't even a factor here -- schaub is only 24. What's leinart? 23? I think schaub obviously is worth something to atlanta cause they don't want to trade him. HEre's hoping this trade works out.

I think I like the Schaub deal over the Ramsey one. Have the Jets had a tryout for Ramsey and/or Schaub? I think they looked at Ramsey already, didn't they? Be back in a few....lunch
Hype for Leinart? He was one of the best college college QB's of all time! How can you say there is hype surrounding Leinart?
