I SO agree with you on that.
    FB=Dinosaur
I would much prefer a big old TE in there that has other uses. They are just so one dimensional.

I'm not sure but the picture shown on TGG homepage looks like he is getting laid out. I'm not sure. I know if he was still a Dolphin I would like the picture of him getting laid out.

Hard to get excited about somebody who may be on the field 5-8 plays a game.

True. But that is because no one knew Neal was that good, if they did you think they wouldn't have drafted him in the 3rd? Hell yeah they would. My only point is a team feels they have that type of player, they should get him, what round is totally irrelevent in my opinion. I just don't like saying "never draft this position in ___ round." The important thing is getting quality players, that is all I care about, 1st or 7th round, QB or FB.

A good FB is hard to come by. And when you have a good FB it does wonders for the run game. Just take a look at San Diego and Seattle, and see LT and Alexanders stats. You think having excellent FBs didn't help tremendously? And when the FB can catch it just adds another dimension to the offense.

You're right in todays NFL, FBs are all but forgotten, overlooked, and neglected for sake of TEs. BUT when you have a good one...

I'm sure they wanted Duckett as there FB but couldn't convince him to do it. He was a scoring machine inside the 10 for Atlanta. 27 TDs in 3 years. Had he been willing to play both here he would have been perfect. One of the biggest problems we had last year was scoring on drives starting inside the 10. Thet went to Barnes after Duckett left town last night.

close. i think that we're going to get rid of houston (he sucks), and pick up a 3rd stringer for short money.

Hmm, brusing FB. I wonder if that means we're going to try and get some big road graders inside. Get some real grunt in the running game.

It's a good signing, but I'm saving my energy for when they bring in that guard and/or tackle that we really need.

i think this signing is straight ASS!

you have the jets releasing askew by saying that a blocking fullback is a vital part in the system and he couldnt do it.

    you still with me?

this guy played for the cowboys for 1 yr under parcells. parcells likes fb's who can do it all. barnes obviously couldnt do something right.

next, to the dolphins. a team whos QB situation is so bad youd think theyd like to keep the FB behind their only saving grace in their rushing game. NOPE!

like i said the FO talked about needing a good blocking FB, and how it was important to the offense. you have Justin Griffin, the FB on a team that led the league in rushing the last 3 or 4 years.

no interview? no nothing? still penny pinching?

    this is BS.

now im not trying to be a darksider or bitch and moan, but the sad thing is this phins castoff could end up being our starter, and probably will.

they better fucking draft Leron McClain out of Bama. BETTER
