If he still has his restaurant in CA I would think he would prefer to stay closer to home maybe SF, SD or Oakland to play out his last few years.

Man, it feels good to know that this is probably not even a possibility.

They were just talking about Keyshawn on ESPN News. Supposedly Keyshawn is giving Dallas the opportunity to bring him back if they choose to.

That said, if we could bring back Keyshawn I would be very happy. He could be our #1, Coles moves to #2, and Cotch plays the slot. I don't mind giving JMac another chance, but Keyshawn would upgrade the offense quite a bit. He would garner double teams, which would make Coles wide open for big plays.

    I agree with you.

The thing is, because of his body structure, and his ability to use his physical traits to his advantage, he makes the better #1 guy.

Coles would only be that much better because of Keyshawn. That's the reason for my order, not because I don't feel Coles has more talent.

Gotcha, but considering Coles is much faster, don't you think he should be the big play guy with Keyshawn more of an over-the-middle possesion type?

either way I don't want the JETS signing anyone on the downside of their careers, especially not a WR with an attitude problem.

It amazes me how people on this board will stand on their heads and spit out nickels at even the mention of bringing back a former Jet, no matter what kind of player or person he was or the circumstances of his leaving, yet will go to no end to criticize current Jets. Johnson was a selfish, money-grubbing, ass. After he left the Jets, he was nothing more than an ordinary receiver who caught the ball and then fell down. He criticized the franchise when he was traded like no player I can remember, even though he forced the trade. Yet people want him back??? I am glad that the new regime is far too smart for that. And then players like Pennington and Abraham and Martin and McCareins and Barton (the Jets best receiver in 04, with Moss on the team) are treated like trash. Go figure???

All his issues aside he is an upgrade even if he's lost a step or two or 3. He makes catches and is a big guy that takes hits unlike that sissy McCareins.
