You have to know he's been receiving a lot of input on his weight from Marvin Lewis and the coaching staff the last couple of years. A light rookie is one thing but a light 3rd year player is kind of inexcusable from a professional point of view. And for those who are going to bring up the Zach Thomas is 228 lbs angle, he's also 5'10 and a half inches tall. 228 at that height is pretty solid. 225 at 6'3" is like a safety, as ed dawg said.
