I would prefer to have a RB who is going to have 2-3 years with us and in that time hopefully draft/aquire the franchise back that we need. This year Jones has shown that he can carry the load and coupled with Leon I think this could work. The only baulking is if they ask for a 1st rounder.

I don't think they could get a first rounder for him at 29 years old, I'd give up our late 2nd (maybe the early one depending on how they fill other needs) though for him--he's better than anyone on the FA market.

I'm actually a fan of Jones, he is a good back and a strong leader. I don't want to deal with Rosenhaus or give up a 2nd rounder for him though. Shawn Alexander and Edge couldn't get a 2nd rounder a few years ago and Jones is a notch below both of them.

I'll take him, just not for a first rounder.

Jones would be a great pick up, imo. He is a horse.

The only Jones I would want is his brother on the Cowboys!

Nice call, gus. Instead of a first rounder we sent them a rubber chicken instead.

It's difficult not to love this deal. Now all we need is a realistic extension and people are going to be scared to trade with us.

And this definitely takes away the burden of drafting one this year. Maybe next year, but more than likely 2 or 3 years down the road until another pick needs to be used on one.

Hopefully we can get the unsexy picks of Oline , DT and DE (Ikaika Alama Francis?) looked at now.
Now we an RB , my guess is that we will draft a CB Darrelle Revis?
