Not as a starter. I think it be a good option for backup though.

All I have to say is HECK NO!
Brooks is a stupid player. The man has talent, but he's just a stupid person.

I don't know who won them those 8 games, but in 6 games they lost that season, Aaron Brooks QB rating was below 70. It's not as if he was putting up Pro Bowl stats as everything collapsed around him. The guy threw four picks against a Green Bay team that couldn't stop ANYONE, and they lost 52-3. It's pretty hard to win games when your quarterback is that irresponsible with the football, and additionally, that prone to sacks. Brooks holds on to the ball and gets sacked more than any quarterback with his speed and athletic ability should, although that's always a "benefit" of mobile qb's.

They both are below average QB's but Brooks is about a half step closer to being average than PatRam.

Wouldnt mind him for cheap. As a backup hes miles ahead of Ramsey. As a starter, they both suck

Please... Watch the games before you comment.

The Saints D gave up so many points so early and had such a pathetic run game that Brooks was forced to throw it 50 times a game. 40 times from the shotgun in some cases. Tough to have a good rating when the other team knows what you are doing every snap.

As for the '4' picks against GB.

Lying to make your point is pretty pointless.

Brooks threw 2 picks in that game. I would know, since I was at the game. The first one was a wide receiver screen that Harris must have known was coming. He jumped the route and TD going the other way. The only other one came on a 3rd and short. The Saints lined up as if to run, lining up only 1 receiver wide. They faked the run, expecting the Packers to bite. Instead 2 DB's went with the 1 receiver. 2 options, throw it out of bounds (which would have resulted in a punt) or throw it deep into double coverage. The ball was a pick, but it resulted in a net gain of 43 yards. Better than most punts. It was really a poor play call.

You are like most posters on here. Spout off a bunch of crap with no facts to back it up.

Actually he won the only playoff game in Saints history. And we thought our franchise sucked.

I think people are looking at this wrong.Brooks for what ever reason is a veteran starting QB.He would be a good fallback plan if Penny can't play.Ramsey I think still can be a good QB but Brooks is one now.He can win games for you now.To just say "He Sucks" really is a childish rant. There are and have been far worse starting QB's in the NFL every year.
