Where did all that money being reported come from then? Surely Cotch's extension did not take that much out of our pockets. I just refuse to believe it.

Seriously someone must have their numbers figured wrong. I will be really annoyed if this is true.

How did we lose nearly 5 mil in cap space?

From the releases. We had to pay out the bonuses of the contracts, and will all the players we recently released, that's how we lost 5 mil. But the cuts will end up being a good team considering we will have much more cap in the next two years or so.

Why does Denver only have $2 million and 500 possible Free Agent signings?

Not that hard to believe. Regardless of any cuts, Chad's incentives brought us from around $28M to $20M, and I'm sure Cotchery's contract counts for around $4M against the cap, bringing us to around that $15.9M number.

I think that number is factoring in the 6 million or so it will cost to sign rookies

What does Chad's 2006 incentives have to do with 2007? I don't understand.

Yes, excellent question. Denver always seems to have a ton of money every year. Just like the 49ers of a few years ago, I smell a rotten egg.

The league needs to take a closer look at how Shanahan (the cheater) is structuring his deals.

all this cap shit is bullshit because all we need is about 25 bucks to sign the "tangini" guys we want.....remember guys, we only need to get wildcard spot and lose in the first round. We are the Jets. Why does Denver always seem to have money and make the playoffs and win a couple superbowls? because they are a better organization than us

the incentives that he earned are paid out in 2007 not 2006.
