You people seriously have to stop it...I said in the other thread on this guy that giving A 30-31 year old this type of money is assanine. Hes a nice guy to have for sure but we are ALRIGHT at the OLB spot. Thomas works with the best defensive coordinator in the league in Rex Ryan and benefits from superior talent from the Ravens D. I understand some of you like this guy and for good reason as the past 2 years he showed up and has done well but its not the end of the world. This just means that a DE/OLB will be available for us with our 1st rd pick with NE out of the way regarding this.
We aren't bitching about the Adalius singing mainly, we in fact, are bitching about how the Jets are being invisible in the FA market so far, as all the big names are being signed... Steinbach, Clements, Adalius, etc. The Jets have nothing exciting about them, they are way to predictable.
Dude I'm far from whining, and actually, you seem to be crying more than anyone. Get over it, it's the first day of free agency and guess what? Things don't always go your way. To complain in every other post that things suck so badly gets to be a little tiring, don't you think?

Jeeeesus. Look, i'm not mad at all that the Jets haven't done anything, I don't care if the Jets wait until Wednesday to sign someone...I don't mind 2nd-tier guys at all such as Kenyon Coleman, Roderick Hood, Ed Hartwell, whatever... But I am disappointed that New England just bolstered their defense with the #1 FA in football to tag along with Colvin, Vrabel, Seymour, Wilfork, and Warren? Not to mention Harrison and Wilson will be healthy, also Samuel... I'm not crying like some people, especially one notable poster, i'm not jumping off my house... But chill the fuck out. The Pats made a huge splash with Adalius, but damn, RELAX.
But we can calm down if the deal is a 5-6 year deal and NE will break a sweat when he is 35-36 and is often injured. Lets wait on how much he's making and the years. We can then judge this deal. :grin:
