Daniel Graham goes home, signs with Broncos ESPN Radio reports that the Broncos have agreed to a deal with Daniel Graham on a deal that includes a $10 million signing bonus. Just as I predicted a few days ago
obviously a good signing. they'll run a lot of two TE sets with Graham blocking and Sheffler running routes.
http://www.profootballtalk.com/rumormill.htm POSTED 2:22 p.m. EST, March 2, 2007 REPORTS OF GRAHAM DEAL NOT TRUE John Crowe of WSKO radio tells us that he has spoken to Jack Mills, the agent for tight end Daniel Graham, and that Mills says that no deal has been reached between the Broncos and Graham. Mills will appear on WSKO at 3:30 p.m. EST to address the situation. The spot can be heard right here. And, on further review of our e-mailbox, we discovered a message from agent Tom Mills, who writes of Graham: "He has not agreed to terms with Denver or anyone. Don't know where that rumor started, but it's completely inaccurate. Dan will visit with the Broncos later today, but we haven't discussed contract and Dan is planning to take a trip to Oakland tomorrow and Seattle after that."
Cutler already had a great target to throw to in Walker, but I agree that they need a WR to develop across from him as Rod Smith didn't play well last year at all.
this is a blocking TE move.....if they ever sign him not saying he isnt a good receiving option, but scheffler is a good receiving te and they need a better blocking te on the roster they might need 1 more wr for depth, but walker, marshall, and smith are good
rod smith is d-o-n-e. But the drafted Marshall and another WR last year. Marshall looked good, but had some drops this past season. Walker is a stud and Sheffler is just emerging. He didn't really get any looks until Cutler took over at QB.
Surprising choice for Daniel Graham IMO. You'd think he'd want to go to an offense where he would be the feature TE, not another situation EXACTLY like New England's.
1)Graham hasn't signed with the Broncos. RIF 2)They didn't sign Dre' Bly. They traded for him and he only has one year left on his contract.
The Broncos and Daniel Graham have agreed to terms on a five-year, $30 million contract, with $15 million guaranteed. http://www.rotoworld.com/content/Home_NFL.aspx
