Well I answered before I read the question, and although Petrino may not get them far in '07, he'll replace Ron Mexico and be set up to dominate in '08.

You forgot Tomlin who is also a new coach for the Steelers ... he would have been my pick but since he isnt there, i picked Wade Philips

I picked Wisenhunt. He may not get the most wins out of these coaches. That will probably be Norv Turner, even though he's a hack. But Wisenhunt will turn that team around quickly. They will be a force to be reckoned with this upcoming season.

Turner was handed a superbowl quality team on a silver platter, though I rank Phippips a close second.

Yeah, well like I qualified, I'm judging success not by overall wins but by how much an impact you make.

Gotta pick Kiffin here because if he wins 5 games, which is very much in reach, it will be seen as a solid step forward.

That is a really sickly selection of coaches though. Bad franchises and first time head coaches generally turn out poor records. That's one of the reasons that Mangini and the Jets and Payton and the Saints were such big stories last year. Norv Turner will probably win 9 or 10 games but a good coach would win 12 with that franchise.

Gotta go with Whisenhunt, he is the next Bill Cowher and is an offensive mastermind.
