Maybe Keith Traylor as NT

    I agree that DE is a major need, but that doesn't mean we couldn't address the NT position as well, especially for a short term deal. We need better DL depth, specifically at NT, and Traylor would be a decent gamble with a 1 year deal. Also, for some plays it allows DROB to switch to DE, which does upgrade that position.

    1 year contract with a clause that says if the Jets win the Super Bowl he gets the same contract next year including a repeat of whatever the signing bonus was.

    I would not mind having a 6'5" 365 monster in the middle of our defense next season even if he is 109. If it doesn't work, well then we're just in a rebuilding year - which is where we'll be anyway if we don't sign a good NT.

    If nothing else it would give D-Rob the chance to watch one of the better NT's of the last decade work.

    Tui was given an injury settlement and released late last year. He is currently out of football, it seems the injury was pretty severe....
