It really is a dilemma with this guy. It's almost as if I'd like to see him work with Ray Mickens for awhile. In fact, it's too bad Ray was cut so early in Miller's career, because nobody covers a guy like a wet blanket like Lil' Ray. But I think you could be right, it's in his head. He's trying to do too much too... trying to be too flashy (and getting burned in the process). I'm not about to give up on him, because just as soon as we do and another team acquires him, watch... it'll be our luck the guy matures and blossoms into an un-freakin'-believable corner and KR. He needs more coaching, that's all. And Mangini is just the guy to make sure he gets it. I can just hear him now... "Stay on Miller... he can do it... he just needs to be pushed."
