Jets hold Picks #2, #16, #33 and #44 in 2026 Draft

This just shows how well Mooge did there. Basically, according to Rich Hill model (which is a model version of classic Jimmy Johnson model) what they got is equivalent to #26 pick. Compare that to what Mooge got in his trades. Waddle is considered to be a really good young WR. But Miami simply can't afford him and effectively traded him for what amounts to 26th pick. That's a really good deal for Denver. Of course they have to now play his salary, but still, a very good deal for Denver.

 

This was a sweet spot for a trade anyway, even before Miami trade. All depends on how much he values these guys. If as much as most it is worth it to get a real #2 WR. If as much as @Rockinz values Lemon, not a chance.

 

This would be awesome. Lots of ammo. Still, no way in hell I would trade up for
Lemon, but Tate may be is different story in this scenario.

That is all....Best WR in the draft, IMO. Spent 4 hours watching "film" on whom I consider the top 5 WR's in this draft. Based on what I read here at the trusty ole' Gang Green, of course, because I don't watch college FB. Fields doesn't jump of the page, he climbs out of the page, slaps you across the face and says draft me and watch me break NY Jets receiving records.

 

Not that I’ve seen him play at all…

But just from the name Malachi…I’m skeptical and afraid

 

This is the worst time of year... people fall in love with the 7th highest ranked player at a certain position, call him the best, get mad when team doesn't draft him. And I'm just as guilty.

 

I won’t be mad…. Disappointed, yes, mad no. I really don’t know enough about them to be mad. I simply like what I’ve seen on “tape.”

 

I was a big supporter of Malachi Corley watching him play a bunch at WKU but that obviously didn't pan out. At least Malachi Fields played at a big school (even though their competition was such dogshit last year other than Miami, A&M & maybe USC). Dude had 36 catches for 630 yards last year and never topped 100 in a single game though.

 

I like Jordyn Tyson more, but that injury history scares me.

 

Malachi Fields profiles a lot like Denzel Mims. Not saying he’ll be Denzel Mims, but big bodied receiver, long strider, catches a lot of deep balls down the field over corners, etc.

Those guys scare me a lot more especially when they don’t come with dominating production.
