    • Gambling through the roof
    • Rigged games
    • Bad calls
    • More global, less national
    • Money money money
    • Rule changes, loose application of rules
    • Too much Tom Brady
    • Kraft likely part owner of 3 teams (las Vegas, Tampa Bay, New England)
    • Bill belichrjcs granddaughter gf
    • Jets share a stadium with the giants in New Jersey
    • The list goes on and on and on
The profit lines must be great, but the product was shit. Can it get back to old school football?

Old school everything is dead. Enjoy the new, it is soulless, unentertaining and driven by anything but sports.

    Lost Nick Mangold
    Mark Sanchez lost his mind
Just off the top of my head.

Kraft likely owner of three franchises? Someone hum a few bars of that one for me

The 2026 NFL has an Epstein scandal brewing. Let’s see whether the NFL actually addresses the Steve Tisch situation, or if this just becomes another case of a wealthy dirtbag facing zero real consequences.

Today's average sports fan is a sucker and the leagues know it. You pay a license for a seat, for the right to buy tickets to sit in the seat. Then you pay to park at the venue. One drink and a hot dog will see you back over 20 bucks....and so on. Then you get to watch a shit product in the freezing cold. Like the Jets

Almost everything on that list was true every year from 2014 onwards. I guess they all did suck for us Jets fans.

And why are you allowing Hoodie's cradle snatching to live rent free in your head? The amount of time I spend letting that shit affect my life is less then the time it took me to write this.

This country belongs to the ultra rich more than it ever has in its existence. Unless he's made to be one of the few scapegoats that feels any heat, I bet nothing happens.

Though he could get punished and then pardoned the next day.

Nothing will happen. He isn't even an interesting scapegoat. Can't gin up outrage about somebody who most people in this country couldn't even pick out of a lineup.

For what it's worth, most sports products are entertaining. Outrageously expensive, yes, but entertaining. As Jets fans we have gotten used to crap. But Knicks games are crazy fun now (win or lose, but mostly win).

Amen. Even weather games are on their way out. Most cold weather teams are moving to domes - Chicago, KC, Denver, Cleveland... Comfort for casual fans who pay more is the mantra of the business.

I have said it many times but I honestly think that one of the main problems is the focus on the QB position - with the rule changes the league is now basically split between teams with a good QB who can pretty much guarantee getting into the playoffs each year and the teams without one that are just treading water until they somehow manage to land one - the QB has always been important but not to the extent it is now where almost nothing else comes close to the level of impact of that single individual
