No, I got this. The Jets win. I'll be hobbling across the road with my walker on Super Bowl Monday, talking out loud. "YA . . . " See? I didn't even get out the other Y. Runaway taxi. No 24 hours of joy for you. :/

MetLife Stadium opened in 2010, 15 years ago, it is the home of 2 NFL teams, and it’s only hosted 2 playoff games total in it’s entire existence

And 1 of those playoff games was a Super Bowl, mandated by the league

I am not saying they'd fold - the NFL prints money and even if the Jets didn't maximize their cash flow, they'd still be ok. The more likely scenario is that they relocate or....hopefully.....dipshit sells when it gets to a certain point. But the reality that they'll have less and less fans as time goes on because the inflow of new ones starts to pale in comparison to deaths and the those abandoning ship is a real one - it will erode the size of the fanbase. Whether or not they stick around and just have half-empty games and rely on the visiting teams' fans is debatable. But unless they get good, OR, find a way to have marquee players who attract fan interest - and hence fans themselves - this is a conversation many of us will be having if this forum survives long enough...haha
